Privacy: All conversations are treated with the utmost confidentiality and all investigations are never divulged outside of the few members of the team who may work on that particular case. The results or ongoing investigations of any case are only divulged to the client and nominated persons made in writing only.
Security: All files and contacts are kept locked and secure at all times. Additional photographs and evidence can be destroyed upon request, once an investigation is deemed completed by either party.
Data Protection: We are registered under the Data Protection Act 1988 and have given all appropriate notifications to the Information Commissioner. All personal details are strictly applied to the rules of that governing body.
The Law: As investigators we are not above the law, and our aim is to comply with all legal processes in any country that our investigations take us to. If you ask us to do anything illegal we must decline. Any dispute arising will be settled according to English Law.
Expenditure: All work will be carried out as cost effectively to the client as possible and the client will be informed if the budget is reached before further work continues. All contracts are binding and any deposit paid is not refundable once work has commenced. However fees may be reduced if an investigation is terminated early or scaled down by prior agreement.
Discretion: Discretion is paramount and we will not send correspondence and bills to your home address if you request. If necessary we can supply business cards from ourselves that look innocent and have no mention of our trade on them so they can be kept safely without causing suspicion. Meetings and telephone calls can be arranged discreetly and to your convenience, to avoid detection.
Moral Issues: We reserve the right to terminate any investigation without refund on discovery of a moral issue, for example; wife beating, child abuse or deception. We will never tolerate such behaviour. All information must be forthcoming at the original consultation and will be made clear on any contract. We will make any checks on clients in relation to the case that we see fit and any future discovery will deem the contract ended without refund or recourse. The directors of Trust Investigations are firm believers in the European Human Rights and Freedom of Information. We will always ensure that race, colour, sex, sexual preference and disability are not discriminated against within our company and in our investigations. We are an equal rights employer.
